Being straight with you
Cookie Policy
We would rather tell you plainly what this website does with your visit than bury it in small print.
The short version
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to count visits and Google advertising cookies to measure our ads. Both are off until you tick them, and you can change your mind any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise you when you come back. Some are genuinely useful — remembering what is in a basket, or keeping you signed in. Others are used to build a profile of what you look at and follow you across other sites. We use none of the second kind.
What this site stores
Essential (always on)
A small note in your browser remembering your cookie choices and when you made them, so we don't ask again on every page.
Analytics (optional)
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) sets cookies such as _ga to count visits, see which pages are read and how people arrive. Only switched on if you tick Analytics.
Marketing (optional)
Google advertising cookies (such as _gcl) help us see whether our Google ads lead to bookings and may tailor ads you see. Only switched on if you tick Marketing.
No other trackers
No Facebook pixel, no embedded videos, maps or social feeds. The typefaces load from this website rather than a font company.
Changing your mind
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Unticking a box stops Google cookies straight away and removes the ones already set.
If you click a link out
The WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and email buttons take you to services run by other companies. The moment you arrive there, their own cookie policies apply, and we have no say in them. Their practices are described in their own privacy pages.
Information you choose to send us
If you fill in the booking form, you are sending us your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you are interested in and any notes you add. That is information you hand over, not something collected quietly in the background.
We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and arrange your consultation. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not added to any marketing list. If you would like a copy of what we hold, or would like it deleted, email us and we will deal with it. Our privacy policy sets out the full picture of how your details are handled.
Your own controls
Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its settings — usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking Google cookies changes nothing about how the pages work. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If anything changes
Should we ever decide to add analytics, or anything that needs your permission, this page will be updated and dated first, and a clear choice will appear before anything is switched on. We are not planning to, but you should know the door is not closed quietly.
